John Denver is a popular musician and singer who has touched many people with his music. The majority of his hits have roots in Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. who was born Henry J. Deutschendorf from Roswell located in the state of New Mexico, fell in Love with Colorado. The place he settled was Aspen. Denver's popular songs about his adopted state led many to relocate to Colorado. I don't think there's any another performer in the world who is as empathetic to Colorado such as John Denver said G. Brown Curator of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. Denver became one of the very premier Hall of Fame inductee in 2011. In the present, he's seen as the embodiment of Colorado by people throughout the world. Certainly in my travels you come across someone from another continent, a person who is from New Zealand and you say 'I'm from Colorado and the first thing they say is"Oh John Denver! Brown said. Denver's debut Top 10 hit as a solo artist after a short time in folk bands was Take Me Home Country Roads which was co-written by Bill Danoff. Danoff had originally written the tune with Johnny Cash's music in head, however Denver knew from the first time he heard the earlier versions that the track would become a major popular. After performing the track during a concert in Washington D.C. to a large audience, Denver made a recording a few days later.
