Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman. Her current position is that as president of the Los Angeles Lakers, the owner of the National Basketball Association. Buss comes originally from California is a member of an exceptionally wealthy family. The father of her Jerry Buss was a real-estate businessman who became proprietor of the Lakers and other sports businesses. She felt abandoned emotionally as her parents divorced in 1972. In 1972, at age 19 she started working in the family business. Then, she established the Los Angeles Blades pro roller hockey team. Prior to becoming vice-president of the Lakers, she served as president of the Great Western Forum. Buss inherited her share of the Lakers by her dad in 2013. The five siblings she had inherited it through a family trust. She assumed the office as president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss has also been a owner of a portion of Women of Wrestling (a Los Angeles-based pro-wrestling association).
