Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil as well as Telugu films in addition to several Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work as actress Savitri. Her other awards comprise three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South, and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar's parents include filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actress Menaka G. Suresh. She started her career as a child actor in the early 2000s and went back to film after studying fashion design. In 2013, she was the lead in Geethaanjali an Malayalam film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began the first of her Malayalam projects as well as began to work on projects in Tamil simultaneously. In 2015 she released A. L. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against each other. However, the films were not a success at the theaters. Due to her busy schedule in 2015, she could not choose but to pull herself out of projects on which she was already making appearances, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In a short time she also worked alongside Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and was also the lead actor for Prabhu Sool's Thodari with Dhanush. She made her Telugu debut had been planned as Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. The film has been delayed since 2015, with reports of release after September, 2020 with a brand name change to Janakitho Nenu. The film's first film to debut was in 2016's Nenu Sailaja featuring the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa alongside Vijay director Bharathan.
