Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is a Canadian actress best famous for the fantasy television series Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' Que te Enamores. Emeraude Toubia is also a talented dancer and model. She is a native of Montreal, but grew up studying in Texas. Her passion for dancing has been in her since childhood. As a little girl, she began training in different forms of dancing. When she was 15 she was participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a hit when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant show. In 2010, she was the receptionist in Telemundo the telenovela Aurora. Her debut film was an action-drama called Tattooed Love in 2015.
